Some of the playschool children, siblings, parents and staff went to see the "Dayglo Indydarc Puppet show" at Leiston Film Theatre on Wednesday. With super music and lots of interesting and amusing puppets, a great fun time was had by all!
Thank You Clare for this treat!
Badingham Playschool had a spectacular float at the Gala today! Thank you to everyone who helped to make the float look so nice and to everyone who came to be a part of the procession. Everyone looked wonderful dressed as Disney characters.

Congratulations to our mini mouse, Clare, who won 2nd place in the adult fancy dress competition!
Thank you for your support.

Hello & Welcome back to the Summer Term
FREE CHILDCARE IN THE SUMMER HOLIDAY your children can enjoy free days at the holiday playscheme by using your grant funding to ‘stretch your entitlement’. By dropping 1 hour per week – every week this term - from your child’s sessions you will be eligible for 2 free days at the playscheme. If you drop 2 hours per week you can have 4 days at the playscheme. Hours can be dropped by dropping off late or picking up early. Please speak to a member of staff as soon as possible to arrange this. The dates we are open in the holidays are: 4th, 5th, 27th and 28th August.
PARENT CONSULTATIONS please return your child’s learning journey and speak to your key person to arrange a date/time for this important chat about your child/rens future learning at Playschool.
Please remember children need to be dressed in suitable clothes for the weather and ones that will be OK to get dirty! Please send in a change of clothes, so that if they get wet/muddy we can change them for the rest of the session, a pair of Wellington boots, a coat, and hat. In sunny weather please apply long lasting sunscreen before leaving your child at Playschool.
Reminder: children’s lunch boxes are stored in the cool kitchen-annex but may still need an ice-pack to keep contents fresh.
If your child is unwell he or she needs to be at home with you for their own good and to stop the spread of disease to other children or staff. They MUST NOT return to Playschool until 48 hours after they have stopped diarrhoea or sickness. PLEASE INFORM PLAYSCHOOL OF REASONS FOR ANY ABSENCE.
Parents/carers are always welcome to join us during the sessions to help with activities – just let a member of staff know you would like to stay or sign up to the voluntary parent rota.
**Don’t forget – Our Stay & Play group for Parents & Carers and their under 5 children, term time Tuesdays 10am to 11.30am, it’s a good time to meet and chat to other Playschool families. **
